A 3-hectare plot of land with old pine trees, oaks and native mountain shrubs surrounds the house. It is a privilege to wake up, open the door and go directly into nature.
There are several terraces and a swimming pool, where one can take a swim during the warmer months.
For people with physical disabilities there is a ramp to enter the house comfortably.
In the house, we rent by room. There is a communal lounge/dining room with a wood burning stove, where you can relax, read, chat with other guests and where we serve breakfast and dinner. We can also prepare a picnic bag for you, in case you are going to be out in the mountains all day.
There are six single, double and triple rooms, each with its own bathroom and heating.
Each room has a name inspired by a plant from the area: oak, cist rose, myrtle, rosemary, Spanish lavender and strawberry tree.
The rooms have a rustic and cosy decoration, with wooden furniture and warm colours. All of them have exterior views, where you can contemplate the natural landscape that surrounds Villa Matilde.
The beds are comfortable, with cotton sheets and duvets. The bathrooms are with toilet, shower, sink and towels. You also have a wardrobe, a small table, a chair and a lamp in each room.
One of the rooms is adapted for people in wheelchairs.
It is possible to organize your own course at Villa Matilde. If you wish, we can make you a tailored offer, depending on the length of your stay, the number of participants and the means of transportation.
